In the spring of 2016, the garden was planted. Susan Giordano Designs designed the garden which was planted in the early summer by Bill.
PLANTING OF THE MARDEN TRIANGLE
PHASE 1

In the beginning of 2016, a group of local Sea Cliffians started planning what is now the Marden Triangle Butterfly Garden. The garden is located at the Marden Triangle between Littleworth and Marden Avenue.
PHASE 3

Finally September 9th, the garden was launched. The local community gathered to celebrate the opening of the garden.
PHASE 4

The next step of the project was to install seating in the garden. This was all completed again by Bill in the Spring of 2017.
PHASE 5

As we embark upon the summer of 2017 the second phase of the garden will be installed. Susan Giordano Design has drafted phase two of the garden and installation will be completed in the spring of 2017.
PHASE 6

While a majority of the plants in the garden are perennials and relatively self sufficient, they do need maintenance. Upkeep of the garden will be an ongoing project completed by the Flutterby Foundation for years to come.
